Yeah…………..

But the folks waitin’ on the rail-bound bus are gonna be considerably older ‘fore they see it east of Newtown Rd. Older’n that ‘fore it get ta the ocean front ‘n Hilltop. No federal money. O’Bama ‘n the socialists done spent it on a more immediate need – buyin’ votes.

Off ta the doc’s place. By private transportation, mine.

River City John already suggested that, but he called the other one The Rolling Death Trap after the ride across the parade ground at Ft Hartsuff, seems he thought he was stuck in it, he didn't understand the visegrip used to open it and he didn't take to well to the pliers used to start it. ::)

T'was brought up in the newspaper's comment section. Sounds like a concern ta me too.

It was a real slice, Buck, thankee. Don't care for afternoon appointments. Gotta say though, I was almost back here at the time I was scheduled ta see the doc. Done 'n finished. Didn't miss it by much.

Sez I'm good ta go on the vascular thing, see ya inna year. Suggested I see another doc for the foot thing. Ain't related ta the leg thing. Prolly a nerve thing. Now I get ta meet new people.

We are gonna have a cool front come in tomorrow and stay through Thursday. The highs will only be in the 50s both days.  I had some oatmeal and toast for breakfast and some popcorn for lunch. No clue for supper tonight.  We had Pork Street tacos for supper last night, done in the Crock pot. They turned out good and tasty.

Major, I am sure that you could get used to the warm weather up there, even if it is only for a short time. We've got some cool weather around here for a couple of days.

I'm pushing it your way Buck.  Light snow here, hope is snows a bunch, we need the moisture and it's warm enough it would be wet, besides my nephew and I got the front driveshaft back in and I wouldn't mind trying it just a little, I've never had one of those before all my own. ::)

Stopped by Super Saver on N 27th for those who know, (Stu) an old friend runs the smokehouse in the store, (each one has one, some stuff is different)  Had some coarse wieners I never saw there before, $4.98 a pound and the package I got had 10 and 1.60 pounds, dang, dang good, need to stop by and by some more, will give Ron my complements.

Got to go to Wahoo, they reopened the meat locker, radio has been advertising Wahoo Wieners, talked to a couple of locals from there at work, said they are back to the old recipe, smoked with good red corn cobs, about 30 miles away, I see a road trip some Tuesday or Wednesday.   May hit Bruno or Elmwood on the way back, one a bit east of Wahoo, one a bit West, both worth the trip.   ;)

Those sound really good, especially some good hot dogs with chili, onions, and cheese.  The coarse ones sound good with sauerkraut and German mustard. Now, you got me hungry, I see a trip to the grocery store tomorrow to pick up those items.

Mornin'.

55° or thereabouts now. Guessers say the same fer taday. Rain this evenin’. Got too close to 80° yestitty fer my likin’, but it ain’t up ta me. Did get the windows up in the afternoon in time ta warm the place up ‘nuff ta avoid burnin’ oil overnight. Back in the forties tomorrow.

Watch the sinus thing, Maj. Had one I couldn’t shake fer a year ‘n ended up in surgery.

Still ain’t real hungry from Sunday’s gluttony. The food talk sounds kinda good tho. Fat lady’ll be out with Andi this evenin’. Thinkin’ on goin’ ta Harris Teeter ‘n assemblin’ a salad. Bring it here ‘n put it in the ice box for the appropriate time of evenin’.

Morning y'all.
Coffee is hot.

'Tis 20 and overcast. Dusting overnight. "Colder. Mostly cloudy with scattered snow showers in the morning...then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 20s. North wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 40 percent."
