Stu, I was off yesterday, just thought I might catch you.  Phone was upstairs when you called.  SIL has been to busy with paying customers to get mine done, no problem.

Hot doga are always good, especially with grilled onions. I had some chicken tenders/catfish filets with cole slaw, green beans, and fried okra for supper tonight.

Rita bought Super Saver homemade cheese/bacon brats last night, were good, she likes the Hy-Vee made ones better than the ones my friend Ron makes, me too, but his were still wonderful. ;)

Those dogs look better than what i had in the school lunch room.  They served a cheap imitation of McDonald's McRib sandwich.  Yup, was as nasty as it sounds. :P  Was glad to have the green beans (not at all snappy) & salad bar.

Must sell doughnuts there too. ;)

Mornin' Y'all.

Class was cancelled today, due to the teacher being on a 28 hour car trip.  Can't say I envy her, but I'm rather glad she's not here. ::)

I am also having a new issue with the truck.  Was gonna go across town with it yesterday, got in, started it up, then when I moved my foot from brake to gas, and put it in gear, it up and died.  Never let the clutch up, either.  It just sputtered and died.  Tried again.  Same result.  Third time, I got it in gear, started back out of the driveway, and it died again.  Then I couldn't get it to start.  Had to put 'er in neutral and push the ten feet back to where it's parked.  It has a quarter tank of gas, fluids are all good.   Almost everything under the hood has been replaced within the last six months.  Dag-nabbed modern contraption.   >:(

My sugar would go ballistic with that lunch,Arcey :o Looked good, though ;)

Been busy the last few. Shortly I'll be the owner of a circa '72 Olds Custom Crafted, model P-12-L trumpet. A Pro grade horn with a large bore, .462, and a silver finish. Kinda a collectors item, but not as valuable as some of their earlier models. Olds closed their doors in 1979 after being bought up by several different holding companies that didn't know squat about the instrument business and ran'em into the ground.

77 and humid here, sun's out. We put in a light post and exterior drain line for the new home in the new section of the park today after doing the regular rounds. That drain is for the water heater, new regs say it has to have a drain line that is out side the homes skirting. Kinda dumb, the home's underneath is going to have water draining under the skirting anyway, so what's the difference? Our goobermint at work again ::) :-\
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....
