I fixed myself a Turkey sandwich for a late lunch today. No plans for Supper tonight. The rains come back tomorrow. I am taking Moose to the airport in the morning for her trip to Atlanta. She comes back on Monday.

I hope that I can get back from the airport in the morning before the rain starts. I plan on a nap when I get home. I got stocked up on provisions for the weekend.

Jim safe driving , I know how confusing that section of interstate is... that morning I left D-FW ( when I was out there on that Show )
it was Raining.... GPS was hay-wire and I got turned around in construction, it was mess .....

They claim 50% rain today here also.... TGIF

Got a lot of rain for a very short time last night. Totaled only about 1/4 in. Supposed to get more over the next several days, but I’m not holding my breath.

Heading back to Great Basin Brewery for more fish and chips tonight. Thinking about grilled filet minion for tomorrow night. That might be cause enough to make it rain tomorrow night.

I got Moose delivered to the airport, in the rain. I got back home and Victoria was glad that I was home with her. I took a nap and slept till 1 pm. I fixed myself a roast beef sandwich for lunch. I ate that and went back to sleep. It helps to hear the rain hitting the roof. The rain continues over the weekend. No park trips for Victoria this weekend. No clue for Supper tonight.

Had a real toad strangler of a rain today, but only about half an hour of it. Wife's off doing some party decorating for on of her friends. I'm having leftover brown beans and ham. No cornbread, had to substitute regular white bread.

I really like the Regular sandwich of their's. We have a location on the south end of the town, and I live on the north end. I like their waffle fries. They quit making my favorite side dish, the carrot-raisin salad.

You cannot have pinto beans without yellow cornbread! I had some cheese and crackers for Supper. The roast beef sandwich was a good choice for my late lunch.

The Cawffee and Hot water are ready to drink. I had some OJ and cold cereal with my Cawffee. We got more rain last night, it will start again at anytime.

I went back to bed and woke up at 10 am. It is muggy and rainy outside, a good day to stay inside. No clue for lunch or supper yet.

Fish and Chips were great last night!

Got a little more rain in the evening. Looking overcast for the rest of the day, but hoping it will not drip on me when I’m doing the filets. I do still have my Aussie drovers coat and my beat-up Stetson to keep me dry while I cook. Even snow blizzards (if we ever get any again) don’t keep me from the Webber!

Got another coat of Milorganite on the lawn in between rain showers last night and tonight. The yard now smells like Milwaukee river bottom. Hopefully it’ll rain overnight and settle some of the aroma.

Going for the filet mignon , mushrooms and onions and baked tater for supper tonight.
