62 partly cloudy. Radar says rains on the way. We'll see

Yesterday was busy. Pool stuff, loose dogs( somebody got bit), and rolling trucks( clutch weren't too good on that one). Only saving grace was the pool emptied out early so I got to shut it down about 45 minutes earlier than stated hours. At least the craft show is over that was in the club house(barn), less cars in the lot today. With rain on the way,things might not be so hectic today.

Another vote for "Gracie" is in.

I find nature fascinating especially living out in Chesapeake where I see more of it than when I lived in the dirty city. Eagles are just such majestic creatures and that photo is very moving.

Doing stuff around the house today, did manage to win a $25 gift card from Tractor Supply. They had a horse rescue group doing a fund raiser yesterday you bought raffle tickets and then put them in the bucket with the horses names from those running. if they picked your ticket from the winning horses bucket you won the gift card, I got lucky.

The info I got with the "Standing Guard" image says it was taken at the National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Not that it matters where it was taken so much. It symbolizes so very much that is American it is hard not to be choked up by it.
What does matter is that the image was captured, and made public.
