This was one of my favorites.  What we had was Aunt Faye’s old feather bed.  On the landing at the top of the stairs in an old Victorian house in Cassopolis MI.  Could lose a whole passel of  younguns in the mattress, but never did find a Muppet in there!!!!

Geez Russ, talk about memory lane.  My Mom had all of his albums and I memorized the words the that one.  Used ta practice singin it in the shower every evening.  Then I'd move on ta Thank God I'm a Country Boy.  My sister would laugh so hard at me an I'd just sing louder.
