Yeah it was Krupa.  Ma mistake.  Rich played with Dorsey.  They were both great.

Gene played with Benny Goodman. SWING, SWING, SWING was him on the drums. I love Big Band stuff, favorite stuff I liked to play in HS......................Buck 8)

A lot of those guys played in various bands.  Like Bunny Berrigan and Harry James on lead horn.  Sometimes it's hard ta tell who's who.

The Dorsey band did this one too, but I like Benny's better.  I think it's Bunny on the trumpet...

Believe it's Martha Tilton. As far as the horn blower, sounds like Harry James's style, but I don't remember when he left Benny to start his own band. Unless it's an earlier recording used for the movie. Otherwise, Ziggy Elman would be my next guess.................Buck 8) ::)
