been a quite a while,
 when Jackie and I got together and for the next 2 years we always went at least 1 night a week for a little 2 steppin  ;D 
back then we lived within a mile of 2 really good dance halls.  nowdays it'd take a 50 mile drive  to get there.

I got a skate key around here somewhere.  When they went over ta the boot style (Derby King I believe was the brand) my first pair had BRICK wheels--no joke.  Bought em as used rentals from a rink.  Then they went ta them tenny shoe kind with the stopper up front.  Got out a the sport long before roller blades come.  Cars were much more interrestin ta me by then.

Miller had a show at the City Arena when I was a kid. Warm-up act finished. No Miller. MC finally comes out ‘n says Miller has tried back stage but he had the flu ‘n was too sick ta even come out ‘n say hello. Turnt out he was too drunk ta walk.

Did the show about a year later. Place was a sell out first time. Not even half full for the second.
