Yanno, 'pends on how far north er south one is in the South (always capitalize 'South')...............
'Bout thirty degrees when we started unloadin' Saturday mornin'. Long Johns. Hot-Hand pads in the pockets of yer duster. Gloves fer when ya can't keep yer hands in yer pockets.
In the truck, three Thermos bottles. One fer coffee, one fer broth 'n one for hot soup for lunch. Coolers once filled with ice, bottled water 'n Gatorade sit home in the barn. Just leave the stuff ta be chilled in the bed of the truck. It's chilled.
Want e'erybody ta unnerstan. Same range a couple months ago, so freakin' hot 'n humid a body couldn't half breathe. Thin clothes soakin' wet with sweat 'fore the first stage was done. So, it gets a bit chilly, like Saturday, I ain't complainin' in the least. Kindah like it like this....
