Have had 3 sets of Kids born since Christmas Eve. One still born. The last 2 Older goats ,  are near ready.  One of these had triplets the year before.
I am under doctors orders to stop working. So i hope she will think about selling her little herd, since i cannot help much.

It may well be a jar opener i believe i have seen them at one time.  The previous was a buggy jack - was pretty easy to ID.  The drawing ir litho they copied was not very detailed.   If any if you are going to visit Slim you might stop here

Evening all.  I'll toss on a pot for the late crew.

Currently 25 degrees as of 22:55.  Today got up to 45.

Did a little bear hunting today. Didn't see anything, but that's pretty normal. I did see some healthy looking deer, though. They should make it through the winter.

My girlfriend has had a great day traveling. The flight from Spain to England was delayed for weather, and she missed her connection. The airline got her on another flight, since it was their fault the plane left before she had even gotten off the other one but instead of heading to Denver, she had to go to Las Vegas, lay over two hours, then get into Denver. Which means she missed her flight to Billings by 6 hours.  And on top of all that, they lost her luggage.  Fortunately she has a friend in Denver that she's staying with tonight, then get back to it in the morning.   Things like that are why I don't have any desire to travel.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are hot.

Major 2, do you cast your bullets? I see the bullet on the left is powder coated. The next smokeless bullets I cast I am going to try to powder coat them.

Leaving 'round 10 AM for MN for the holiday. Be back Tuesday.

We ended up with 1/4" of sn*w on everything.
'Tis 12. A few flakes coming down. High of 26.

Slim, I haven't cast my own in many years , and then it was for my 54 cal. sharps and .451 balls for my Armies.
Gave my lead melter to a Bass Pro fisherman & sold my molds & handles in the classifieds.

Now, I buy from Springfield Slim (conicals) , Penn Bullets ( Krag)
& and these from Missouri Bullet Company...
#4 Whitetail - Hi-Tek
.311 Diameter
165 Grain RNFP
Brinell 18
Hi-Tek 2-Extreme Coating
Price per box of 250
Price: $31.00

Also, my Friend in Iowa casts my Bethier .329 GC'ed 8mm Label bullets.

My 44-45cal. CAS Pistol bullets come from Missouri Bullet Company.

Morning all.

25 and foggy this morning, though the fog is burning off.  Supposed to get up towards 60, but I'm not so sure.

Did some hiking yesterday with my dad and the dog. Found an old mining cabin that I'd like to explore more, but I'm not ready to do that hike again today.  I found a "federal law forbids" liquor bottle though.  So that was kind of cool.  If anyone happens to want it, I sure as heck don't have anything to do with it.

I think i may have bought the one of the last orders from. montana bullet. Few Years back, i have bought from Missouri bullet but swithed to Crown Bullets and  Everglade Ammo. I did buy my big lube needs from Mark Whyte however.  Like you major i sold my stuff many years ago, then i loaded 45 and .54 for my muzzle loaders and trolling sinkers for walleye fishing.

I only cast for my .58 Zouave and my .44 special Vaquero Sheriffs model. I buy all my other lead bullets from Scarlett Darlin' If she's at a match you can order them and she'll bring them to you and save you the shipping costs. You also get a hug with every purchases. She makes some great bullets at a reasonable price.

I cast all my rifle bullets, and some pistol. Used to buy more bullets for CAS, but then I started shooting more oddball stuff, and got back into casting more. Still have a bunch of Big Lube .38s from Whyte, and some .45 Desperado BP bullets.

Fifth Sunday is Biscuit and gravy breakfast day at Church. I used all the milk in the house, made a couple dozen biscuits and half a crock pot of gravy. Came home with 2 biscuits and maybe a pint of gravy. We gut there a little late, they still had 2 crock pots of gravy, but were out of biscuits.
