Cop Copter is buzzing around with it search light on ( still dark out ) no idea what's up .... searching for something or body I suppose.

Coffee's pored and there some left, off to the work 20.

I was here all night and I can provide witness's to my whereabouts

I just made a big pot of Cawffee for the late risers. Hot water to follow. We went to the funeral home last night. I found out that a Masonic brother is the uncle of my neighbor's wife and that her father was a Mason as well. Her uncle was surprised to see me there. I told him they are our next door neighbors. The funeral is today.  Moose and I plan to stay at their house while everyone is gone to the funeral.

Whew! Close call..................

Leavin' the off site pantry. Hit the ignition 'n somethin' disco was on the stereo. T'was on the best classic rock FM station in the market too. Smacked the button 'n 'nother one was comin' outta commercial 'n startin' with a some Georgia Satellites. Relief was immediate.

Teach me ta make sure sumthin' recorded's in there 24/7/365. I was lucky this time.

Oh the joys of being an older sibling...

Both parents out of town today.  Mother is at a weekend quilting marathon, with a bunch of the elderly women of the community.  Dad is up on top of a mountain at a fire lookout, working on radio equipment before winter drops the minimum of eight feet of snow.  That leaves me to watch the two younger kids....until one parent gets home... :o
Could be worse, I suppose.  Could have to watch screaming toddlers... ::)

We slept in this morning. It is good to sleep in once in awhile. I had some oatmeal with raisins, cinnamon toast, and half a grapefruit. Moose is baking some fruitbread for the neighbor's family. I am getting my new laptop set up to receive e-mails and access the internet.

Sounds like you need to sit around the fire and thaw out, y'all. ::)
We got church this morning.  After that, I'm gonna see if a friend wants to go for a walk down a trail out to a camp ground and roast some marshmallows.  Yum....
