TK we get them out here in Chesapeake, mostly young kids who have parents with more money than sense. There is usually one a month rolled in the ditches.

Arcey, the flaming float was enough to make good local news footage, I expect we will see a goo din depth investigation by Andy Fow if anyone got hurt.

Moose is making chicken tamales soup for supper tonight. The temp got up to 33 for a high. The schools will open tomorrow. The yards are still iced over. I am not venturing out until the sun comes out and the temp gets above 50.

The chicken tamales soup turned out good tonight. The temp is back below freezing. I am sitting in front of the fireplace, with a cup of Cawffee, watching Round 5 of the NFR. Two more events, and Round 5 will be over.

I'll start the pot, no guarantees, though ::)

We've got snow here again. Wife went in( I'm surprised) and the park plow woke me up. i'll have to get out and get the drive done before she gets back so she can get up it. Maybe a half inch to an inch from my vantage point in the kitchen. ::) :-\

21 here, WC 11 :-\

Thanks for the Cawffee this morning. It is still dark outside. We have a projected high today of 36.We still have a lot of ice left on roads and in the  yards. I am ready for warmer temps and a lot of sunshine.

Rita made supper last night, I'm cleaning up the debris, I am just shaking my head, I have to think and try to use that many pots and pans and dishes to make potatoe soup. ::)  She cooked up sausage, drained it and put it in a bowl. then cooked the soup in a bigger cast iron pan.  ???  Brown sausage, drain most of the grease, don't need the colander and then cook the soup in that, save a dirty bowl, colander and extra pan.

Susie can mess up a lot of pans and dishes to make stuff, too. More than really necessary ::)

Of course, you could do like my uncle......I don't think he's washed his pan since he bought it.  I'm not certain, but I don't think chicken liver and onions would mix very well with pineapple upside down cake..... :-X
almost to 20 right now, with freezing fog down below the tree tops.  Today I'm going to pick up my new 1911 from the city, and I'm about to bust something.  13 days of waiting!  keep calm....keep calm... 8) 8) 8) 8)

Blue ‘n red flashin’ lights reflected off’n rain soaked asphalt with cops wearin’ yellow traffic vests makes it look so much like Christmas at accident scenes. Too bad the powers that be recognized my superior investigative skills and exceptional leadership abilities ‘n stuck me in offices most my time. Kept me from havin’ the fun them boys er havin’ outside taday werkin’ wrecks. With that said, should be noted the buildin’ cuzzin Tom ‘n me werked outta fer a spell leaked like a sieve. I had a standin’ order for my folks; complainants were ta be escorted ta the office via the east hall so they could see the big wet spots in the ceilin’ ‘n five gallon buckets catchin’ the drips.

Nasty out. Rode by the lake on the way back from the off site pantry. Not a one of the broad tailed strutters what usually drag theirownselves ‘round the track were out. Nice thing is the blue hairs usually infestin’ the off site pantries is all off somewhere else or hidin’ inside with soap operas ‘n daytime game shows. No one in a trance blockin' the aisles 'n the parkin' lot was safe ta walk thru.

I am glad that Texas is not that restrictive. I have a CHL permit, so I do not have to wait. I am able to buy and pick-up in one day. The sun has finally come out. We need a big warm-Up this week.

Fill out the fed 'n commonwealth forms. The shop calls the cops ta see if ya told the truth 'n then ya write the check 'n leave with it. Or, in the case of the last two Glocks, took 'em upstairs 'n shot 'em then left.

Couldn't find a minute to get on for a while, now that I'm not so busy, I've been feeling poorly for a few days. Was supposed to have chemo Friday but the doc didn't like some os the numbers from the bloodwork & was runnin a fever.

Sorry I missed your birthday Del, was that the day we talked on the phone?

Been miserable cold here for the past week. Highs in the teens & lows around zero, and of course the wind blows. Got a little bit of snow on Saturday but just enough to show how windy it is. Most of the snow is gone - worn out from being blown around.
