NCOWS Flag

Is there such a flag that could be replicated?  I'd love to hang it along with the American flag at our matches.

I remember in the 2002 Congress meeting that a flag was approved by the Congress and that it was a swallow tail design.  If you have the March/April 2002 issue of The Shootist, you can see it pictured on page 28.  Also the field was black with a white NCOWS logo.

It does appear that the flag in the pic from the Nationals is most likely a swallow tail. However both pics show the field as navy blue.

That as one of several pictures Jim Mullins sent me to post on the JCR section of the GLFMC web site back then. Until recently it was used on the Congress page of the NCOWS web site.

All,
The one in the picture of the 2008 Nationals is the 2nd flag sewn by Sharon Dahl of Nebraska.  The first one was flown at the old National range in Ackley, IA around "99".  I think that one ended up with the club at Ackley.  The second one is the one I had her duplicate for the National Organization in 2007 so it travels to National Events with me.  So the swallow tail is the original flag design.

It is very possible that my recolection of the field color is wrong and that it should be blue.  I have the Shootist issue I refered to but it is hard to be sure of the color, otherwise I would try to post the picture, I thought it looked black.  Which ever is fine with me and my only concern is that they are uniform for all the posses.  If they are a reasonalbe price I am sure that I can get one budgeted in for purchase by our club.  Please let me know what you find on pricing.  I would think the more posses that purchase at the same time that the price would improve.
