Higher RPM's????  Just guessing but this might be due to the E15 gasoline used this year in NASCAR....More horses but it is said by smarter folks then I that a reduction in MPG as much as 25%....   ???

Self venting Fueling cans and the elimination of the "Gas Catcher" too....said to create second plus extended pit-stops...   ???

New points assignments too!  Gonna Be INTERESTING year.. :o

Arcey, I heard that the Museum in Virginia is going to have an Air Show featuring "Chuckie" this summer.

They do ‘Warbirds Over The Beach’ every summer. I went last year ‘n sat just ‘cross the road from the end of the runway they were takin’ off from. They have tents ‘n vendors with different foods ‘n beverages ‘n some WWII style acts. Mandatory cap ‘n tee shirt sales. I’d be surprised if they didn’t put Chuckie in the air.

‘Bout time for me ta start supper. Plan ta be ready ta eat when they’re ready ta go.

WOW  Great Shootout!

Next Sunday's Daytona 500 is going to be great.....Paired cars instead of long line groups....New asphalt very fast track.....I like what the Texas Lawdog pointed out....9700 RPM's as 200 plus MPH and then 200 laps....valve springs will break.... Then all the different crazy moves??   ???

It's anyone's race to win!!   ;D  ;D  ;D

The new fuel does burn hotter and produces more horses. Junebug seems to be revitalized with his new crew chief and crew. I hope this helps his confidence. I am ready for him to put JJ on the sidelines. Five in a row is enough.

Kurt Busch seems to have a fast car. You're gonna have to have a dancin' partner to get to the front.  I hope that there aren't too many big wrecks that take a lot of cars.

I watched the Truck race on Friday night. They had lots O wrecks, destroying most of the best trucks. I was glad to see Michael Waltrip win his first Truck race.

The Fords finished 1, 2, 3.  The last Ford win at the 500 was in 2000, when DJ won.  A big hand for the Wood Bros. I watched them win the 63 500. That was my first Nascar race to watch.
