It's funny because it is so true.
"When you have to shoot, shoot.  Don't talk."

"First comes smiles, then lies.  Last is gunfire."

What do you call a musician without a girlfriend...?

Homeless.

Homeless.

Terrible fatal accident out on the highway last night.  A van carrying a local band flipped over killing 3 musicians and a  drummer..(rim shot no longer available)

I'll try to repent the drummer remark here

I'm glad to see Mr. Helm still able to get out and tour and play. He had a long battle with Throat cancer, and has learned to overcome

OK for the day after St Paddy's Day, Bluegrass has strong Irish roots.  I offer the only crude Bluegrass song I've ever heard:

Here's one for ya Leo, local boy born an Okie.  Yes Dr. was earned, retired now a Professor of Philosophy at Nebraska Wesleyan University.  Been followin' him for 35 years, plays anywhere for cheap or free.  Sound ain't the best, writes most of his own, calls it Country Blues.  I love that tin guitar he's got, when I see him play I ask him to play his tin guitar.

He loves to interact with his audience.

You make it here sometime we'll find where he's playin' if not his # is in the book, lives a few blocks from me.  Bet he's play for a couple of bucks or coffee.

I'm going to look into that.  There was one at the local shop that looked just like this 'un

They wanted a little too much for it.

I think American Resonator Guitars start around $500.  These Cigar box creations sound pretty good espically for the blues
