I've never cared for the Taurus Judge and I like this even less. What a waste of time. Meanwhile, people are still waiting for their single actions.

I have the special NCOWS USFA revolver with true ivory grips. The serial number is my NCOWS number. It's running mate is a Gunslinger, both in 45 colt. Shot the NCOWS revolver the first five stages of the NCOWS National with out a miss. Shot working cowboy. I own four USFA revolvers, the other two are 44/40 that I have taken down to the oringinal look. Shoot black powder in those. I love these guns. When I can afford it I will have two 44/40's 7 1/2 inch revolvers. These guns are the best and they have won me over to a USFA fan and supporter. They can keep their Rem 75's and their 410 hand cannons, I don't want them. The snub nose, I like. A USFA supporter. Tj

Shot 45 colt the first day, then 44/40 the second day of the NCOWS National. I like to shoot different guns. Tj

What's your point ? We're talking about not being able to get them.

Doc,
I think that in a roundabout way, T Jack is simply agreeing with the rest of us.  "They can keep their Rem 75's and their 410 hand cannons, I don't want them."  USFA should stick to what they do best, producing the SAA.

By the way T Jack, welcome to the USFA forum!

Well Capt., I think we're all in agreement about 410 hand cannons at the very least. ;)
A work in progress.

TJ,

Don't sell the shooter short here!!   I think putting any gun in YOUR hands will work beautifully.   ;D

Capt. John, You are 100% right. They do the single action best and that is what they should continue to do. Also make them available to the shooting public. Noticed Longhunter does not even offer them now. His was the best deal out there to get a USFA. Who wants a hand cannon in .410 enough out there already. Tj

Thanks Deadeye Don. Tj

From my experience, it's crystal clear that USFA needs a more aggressive ad campaign because they still remain relatively obscure to many in the business.

True story, this one guy kept insisting that my Single Action was a Ruger. A Ruger!!!! :o

I'd say it pays to advertise alot more.

I was at the range last week and had a couple of guys look at my Rodeo and .454 Casull Freedom Arms Model 83 and comment on how much they liked my Rugers.....lol.

Though I am still far from being able to own a USFA, Rodeo or not, I can't see the point of that "shot" pistol, when I could simply load up my "dream" Bisley Rodeo .45 Colt with shot loads, handloaded or otherwise.

I own two of the USFA (Rodeo and a Bisley).  I would buy a Henry B. Nettleton type Artillery in a minute but the site is bare and no pricing is listed.  This seems to ne a really dead issue now.  Too bad, great product and nice try!  What is going on now?

You're on the wrong website.  They have changed it:

Inside sources are saying that the well ran dry and the equipment was all sold.
Interesting that Donnelly is touting a "re-tool" (but if you sold all the equipment that would definately be necessary).
I can't find a USFA dealer with any inventory and they have not received any for a LONG time.

I guess we'll see if the re-tool ever happens, time will tell, but it's pretty danged sad :'(

I am a toolmaker and prototype machinist that has worked for many companies through the years. I have seen companies that were doing good, with what they were doing, go off on a tangent product only because someone talked the owner into it with the promise of good money. In the end they ended folding up shop. Some of them were smart enough to realize it before it was too late and went back to what they do best. Hopefully USFA will see the light before it's too late for them.

Tex,

If you read both sites carefully you will see they are both USFA sites. The 22 zip is their new tangent.

Yep, knew that.  They changed the SAA site several weeks ago.
