Howdy Pards,
Help me figure out what the name of this movie is.
I saw it about thirty years ago, on TV. I don't remember many details, but it seems like there was a wagon train. A man and his son were somehow attached to the group. The leader/antagonist was always using a bullwhip. He also had a son, who also had a bullwhip. Anyhow, the hero was away, and some of the bad guys goaded his boy into a fight with the bad guy's son. When our hero returns, he finds his son still fighting with the other boy, and also with several stipes from the other boy's bullwhip.
Of course our hero now has to fight the main bad guy, and his bullwhip. Which, of course, he ends up winning.
After the fight, someone says "now there's a real Texan" Or "Californian" or some such state.
I don't remember who any of the actors were. The boys were pretty young.
I know that's not much, does a ring a bell for anyone?
Thanks,
Boondock Saint
