When I was a junior in high school, we had one dumb guy that put a 22 shell in the vice and squeezed it up and whapped it with a hammer.  he was lucky the vise kinda protected everybody.

well he did have the other hand,  the one not holding the hammer, resting on the vise, throwed a few particles in his fingers.

My dad always told of the kid that put one on the wood heatin' stove in the school he went to, no one got hurt but him, not by the shell but by the teacher when she caught him and whooooped the poop out of him with a big stick. ;D

Never in a pot bellied stove.  Campfire yes, but was also smart enough to get the heck out of the way.  Hey do you know what you can do with empty CO2 cartridges,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,nerver mind, but if you do use a long fuse, they throw metal. ;D

And if you do do that never tape a light stick to one after dark is is impresive er not interestin' at all. ::)

We set off the light stick first afore we blew it up.

Ya know them old RR torpedos were fun to shoot with a 22, they don't use them much anymore and they keep them locked up. ;D  You could tie them to a 4X2 and hit them good and break the 4X2. ;D
