National Shoot seven weeks away-- are you going??

The National Shoot is seven weeks away and I am curious to see how many of you are planning or have already signed up to go.  I confess that I am one of the first to get my entry in, in fact I was #5.  Just can barely wait for it to arrive.  I am sure that the fact that "The Shootist" has not gotten here yet with an entry form has had some effect....    just curious as to how many members are not able to download an entry so are waiting the printed one.

A) I have never missed an NCOWS National Shoot since I became a member, this will not be the first exception.
B) I have never mailed a check until the last possible moment, this will not be the first exception.   

Our 'current plan'  is to follow a natural river path with numerous Nebraska tributaries joining at the Missouri River and following it south to Kansas City where we will join with the Kansas folks and turn East toward St Louis where we will continue to Louisville, Lexington and then south to Hooten. No use claimin' you weren't warned, we got witnesses now.

  Definitely looking foreward to seeing you all. Haven't sent our entries in yet , will be doing that soon. Haven't missed a Natl. since my first in '99. Sounds like we'll have quite a crew going across Mo. to Ky.

My NCOWS Shootin' Pard, Eastern Earl, and I have not missed a Natls for many, many years, but sad to say, this year the scheduling just didn't work out. As it happens in business, you have to schedule a year and sometimes two years out for vacation, and this year it just didn't fit in.
If it works out that you folks get the event again next year, we'll sure try and segue it into the schedule as we really like to support the Natls. as much as possible!

P.S. please advise: Unless I missed it someplace, somewhere, somehow, on an e-post on a forum not familiar to me, or perhaps in the next issue of THE SHOOTIST (that may not get here for awhile), or on the NCOWS website, nobody has asked for any advertising $, right? I'd submit the idea that previous 'Family Sponsors' for NCOWS Shoots, etc., just might be interested in sponsoring a portion of the event, specifically the same one they have sponsored in the past, if only they were asked and contacted, officially of course. However, if you, as a Triumvirate Posse have been lucky enough to have a full-bore-across-the-board-entire-event-sponsorship, then go for it and holler "Yee Haw!!"

I regret that you will not be able to attend.  We have a lot of boardwalk that needs to be held down.

Indeed I am planning on being there, although the way gas prices are going I may be throwing a saddle on the critter and leaving a couple weeks early to get there. Aware of my peronal habits, I suspect my check will arrive the day after Lone Gunmans.
