Been thinking of using a pocket pistol as a main match gun in WC, it would work with my persona. Does anyone use one? Is it legal to use a 38 s&w pocket pistol as a main match gun in WC.

Doc-- it would be legal. In fact, for some persona impressions, it would be more realistic.

Howdy! I don't know for sure but unless its a 6 shot pocket pistol the revolver can't be loaded safely with hammer down on a empty chamber on those 5 shooters. I suppose there's nothing that says you can't load 4 and shoot them, then reload the 5th to finish. WBR

I considered using my H&R but I can't hit anything with it.
The main problem is;
"load five rounds with hammer down on an empty chamber."
Most pocket pistols are five-shooters. My H&R is a six shot .32 long. It would be a great gun for my 1898 war correspondent character, but....

Actually, the rules state that the revolver is to be hammer down on an empty chamber, or BETWEEN chambers when loaded. A five shooter can safely be carried with the hammer down between chambers, as the firing pin will fall between cartridge rims.
