Got a fairly nice 78 Colt but it has a problem with wear on the hammer sear. It will cock in single action but not as a double. And the cylinder doesn't lock up worth a damn, but I assume this is as much bad design as anything else. It does have a great barrel and I'd consider shooting it if I could get the hammer reworked and figure out a way to lock the cylinder a little better. There was a guy over in Washington that worked on these but I've lost his address. Any suggestions?
