Fake ivory grips...Where???
« on: February 12, 2006, 09:50:11 PM »
Howdy out there:

I finally received the Kirst cylinder for my Pietta Navy .36 and I couldn't believe it when it dropped  slicker than W-D 40 on a Bowling ball. I believe it's the first time I ever bought anything that worked even better than the ad said. Indexes perfect too,and all I need now is the twin to it and some ivory grips. i've been to several different web-sites, including e-bay but I'm confused about which one's to get; some of the ads specify ".36 Cal Remington Navy Pietta made by Navy Arms."  I have a .36 Cal, Made by Pietta and I don't have a clue who distrubuted it; I didn't think Navy Arms was anything but a distributer???
The bottom line is, where can I get a pair of fake, aged ivory grips at a decent  price and from a place that knows what they're talking about??  Any info would sure be appreciatted.
EZWriter  aka  Lonesome Roads   PS  Apologies to those web-sites in advance if it turns out I'm the one that don't know what I'm talking about !

Tru ivory or Buffalo Brothers will fit them for you...small fee, I think.  Both are excellent.

Eagle Grips might.  You could ask them.

Your Pietta takes Pietta Grips, no matter which distributor.
Try Grips.com I have a couple pair from them. They come lilly white and I age them. Reasonable. you do have to do some fitting, but it is minor.
