Priming, it looked like he was using the base of a Lee Loader as an anvil, nut no real worries as to safety in the manner in which he did it. I've never seen anyone apply a dry paper patch, usually done after wetting the paper (unless someone is cheating and using masking tape or inkjet labels, but I am admitting NOTHING).
Werndls are a hoot to shoot, a cousin of the Zulu shotguns. Not as classy as a '71 Mauser, but they have a decent level of gizmosity about them.
