Beings that I lost the bidding on [2 different lots] of over 500 pcs of used c45s brass [all sold for 240.00 to the same greedy dude] i looked around for an alternative and ordered one of these. I don’t usually talk up Lee stuff but I bought a manual Lee Deluxe Quick Trim and a .45acp Trim Die and have just cranked out 5 cowboy special loads made from Schofield brass. This thing works a charm, much better [for .45 dia sized cases] than their old stem and cutter system. I did use a .455 trim die, a hack saw and a couple of washers for spacers to remove the bulk of the brass and then turned it in the Quick Trim. Very ingenious, looks well made, makes a very nice cut/trim and it hasn’t broken yet! Need about 100 pcs total. Much cheaper than getting into a bidding war.
