Newest Holster ( Ruger Single Six)

Here is my newest creation. My father in law wanted a holster so I figured I would make him one for Christmas and surprise him with it. He really likes the basketweave design so that is what I went with.

I with with a natural antiqued finish on this one instead of dying it. Something I had not tried yet. Always looking to grow and learn so I figured it would be a good time to try it.

I like the antique finish. I've used antique finishes without dye before and always liked the result. Nice work.

Thanks. This was the first time I tried the antique without dye and I do like how it accented the basketweave.

It also imparts a subtle coloring to the whole project, too. What color antique did you use? Medium brown?
