It's a busy long weekend. Took off Thursday and Friday, worked a booth at the Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest-selling "passports" to win a motorcycle, riders have 24 places to get their passport stamped, then they can go in a drawing.

Today, We're going to the Steam-O-Rama antique tractor show near Springfield. Tomorrow It's our annual match at C.O.W.S., Hanging tree shootout.

Afternoon y'all.
Iced tea is ready.

Good to hear ya got power back, Major 2.

Have fun and be safe, Major.

On the way back from my morning constitutional, I helped pull out the tractor that was planting winter wheat. It got in a wet spot. I got to drive the BIG John Deere that has duels all the way around. Bullet rode with me.

I was going to mow the lane because the hunters have started archery season and we gathered the horse wire down the lane. One tire was flat on the tractor, so I pumped it up and added air to a rear tire, but found a leak in the sidewall. New back tires are on my future.  ::) So I have been trying to get the tire chains off put on about ten years ago.

'Tis 86 and partly sunny. High of 84.

Spent the latter part of the week constructing a new chicken run around chicken house #2.  Using 16 foot by 42 inch high panels, these have the 4 x 4 inch spacing. Much smaller than spacing than ones we used a couple years ago.  The new yard is 42 feet by  20 feet. With the 10 x12 house in the corner. We will work on house #1 the oldest one next. Then start some new hens.  We will use the balance of panels to extend goat grazing. And to build the pig a permanant home. < just a pet till he makes one of us mad lol.  😂

Slim i am happy knowing i will never have to chain up a tire the rest of my life. Sorry about needing tires though

Thanks fer the coffee.

Does the pig follow you around like a puppy?

Going to verk today for the monthly systems outage.

'Tis 60 and sprinkling. "Cooler. Cloudy with showers and thunderstorms in the morning  then sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the middle 70s. West wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent."

Yes he will follow especially my wife. However he will rake you with his head just because you are not paying attention to him. We scold him like we do the dogs. Like pig, 2 of our dogs were rescue also.

M2 if i was describing the population of Jefferson county, those would be words i would have to use.

Afternoon all.

Down from the mountain for two days.  I pulled a full five day shift up there this week, since we had a decent thunderstorm come through and set a bunch of stuff on fire.  Overtime, but at the expense of not getting a shower.  :-X

Just got home from the city (only 99,000 people), and am getting ready for a dog walk.  Then I'll probably just flop down and not do anything. ::)

Knock a couple zeros off of that, and you'd have my kind of town.

Afternoon all.

Laundry in the washing machine, dishes drying, chickens eating old bread.  We're getting a little rain right now, and some wind.  Good day for deer hunting. ::)
