I was under the believe this was a sure sign of a "yuppie".
I am still not sure just what all this yuppie stuff means. Other than it is some species, that one doesn't like for what ever that reason maybe.

Nope, don't look like no Yuppie here, looks like a crabby old SOB who makes people happy with his cooking and his teaching people to cook in the old time way, you need to dig a little deeper in your research.

If my pictures I use to teach seem to bother you then you are a very small minority of the people because 99.9% of the feed back I get on it are positive and there are a hell of a lot of people out there that are now learning to cook like I do, thanks to the time I spend teaching them in person and on the net, rather than watching something on TV.   

Yer either part of the solution or part of the problem, but the people who have read my magazine articles over the years, read my blogs and are members of my teaching pages seem pretty happy about it so if I bother a minority I am OK with that.   

Bet you didn't know an elementary teacher in England asked and uses some of my pictures in her history classes, much of my work gets forwarded on to other groups including one recently that went to a Smithsonian page with my permission.

By your definition, just what is a yuppie?
You like documentation, so I ask you to provide the same for the definition of those things you think of as Yuppie.
As for TV, I have not had it for 12 years now.

More rain is expected in Houston today.  There have been several deaths reported from the flooding.  I've been fortunate...I live about 50 miles from the hardest hit area, yet I still live in Houston!...everything is bigger in Texas!
