Actually, it wasn't that bad of a movie as far as Westerns go, and featured an early performance by Leonardo DiCaprio (who later went on to fame in 'Titanic') and a relatively early performance by Russell Crowe (who later went on to fame in 'Gladiator').  The movie also featured Gene Hackman (The French Connection), Lance Henriksen ('Aliens'), Gary Sinese (Stephen King's 'The Stand'), and well known character actor Pat Hingle (Commissioner Gordon in 2 'Batman' movies).  And of course Sharon Stone.  Not bad at all.

Oh, by the way...since it's that time of year....Lance Henriksen also played the bereaved father who calls up the legendary monster for revenge in the classic horror movie 'Pumpkinhead'.  Check it out.
