Wolf spring kit
« on: June 11, 2004, 07:34:38 PM »
where can i find a wolf spring kit for a ruger vaq.  Also, what modifications can be made so that the empty shells "fall" out of the cylinder when unloading.  Can the cylinder be honned or polished?

Wolf Springs can be found at Brownells or Midway.  However for Vaqueros you might try Bunk house springs.  I believe that Har Trigger has an ad right here at Cas City.  I have them in my Vaqueros and they are very nice. ;D

 ;D Howdy Will,

Do any of these folks you mentioned make these springs for the 1890 Remingtons by Uberti?

Thanks ;)

I use the Wolff gunsprings and find them fantastic.  The bunkhouse spring kit is more expensive  and when I contacted Har Trigger he was evasive in answering questions about his kit, so I suspected then, as I do now, that he is recycling Wolff springs for a premium price.
