Last three days we have had afternoon showers and early evening T storms.
It has made for some cool nights and Good Sleeping weather.
A bit early for this time of year here in Florida.

Evenin' y'all.

Well, the brother's soccer game was a little bit of a flop...  6-0, not in our favor.
Sister did a little better. 3-0, though still not in our favor. :-\

Nothin' really went right for me, either:

1)Truck wouldn't stay running
2)didn't get to go 4-wheeling
3)didn't get to take the girl 4-wheeling(or do anything with her at all, 'cept stand under the same shade canopy.  ::)  )
4)didn't get to go dove hunting
5)didn't get lunch or dinner because of company

Of course, on the bright side, I did get my brother's shotgun fixed. ::)

I am kind of nervous about tomorrow, though.  First real math exam at the college.  I got 100% on the practice test, so...  Wish me luck!

Did a nice hunk of cow with 'taters 'n mushrooms. Salad on the side. Too much but went down well watchin' Jerry's team get beat.

Gotta slice of ham defrostin'. Really like ta be dicin' it up 'n dumpin' it in the pot with a whole buncha beans. Too early tho. Patience – won't be long.

Arcey, Jerry didn't look too happy last night. Garrett is not the problem, Jerry is the problem, he has an Al Davis complex. The Defense sucks, the Offense sucks, even Special Teams are lousy.

Had enough football for one weekend. Breakroom had one game on the console had another all day,  got home to watch the final plays in the land that Coor's built.

Dove season open yesterday at noon. Nearly a month long this year. Numbers are up.

Overcast and humid this morning not sure what the temps will be. I am sure it will be another day in paradise.

Nsaid is helping the rotator cuff as the weather tapers off , expect it rain again today though.

The cosigner on the Smith 1917 got somewhat uppity, and declined my offer....
What he has is a re-blued 1917 with modern N Frame grips, it also has M1937 Brazilian markings.
He's @ $1000  :o
It's clean, tight and would make a nice shooter (in 45 ACP), but not anywhere near his buy it price  ::)

Burgers were good on Saturday!  We Invited our friend up to Virginia City for the Camel Races, on Sunday, then the Comstock Cowboys playing at the Bucket of Blood.

We told our friend that they had Camel Races, Ostrich Races, Emu Races and Chicken Races.  She wanted to know how you could race chickens.  Told her you get behind them and fire blanks into the air.  She discovered that the Emus and chickens were chased around the course by small children.  The camels and ostriches are actually ridden by jockeys.

Was great to be in a saloon with 75 percent of the clientele were like me (dressed in period attire and carrying period firearms)!

Arcey

We haven’t had any rain around here since early August (and that was a totally weird heavy downpour).  I put a stop to that strange weather by putting up a rain gauge.

I think I need to take down the rain gauge and sell the snow blower to get rid of this 3 year drought we’re in!
