Thanks, Del. Hang onta it. Might wanna look later.

The stuff toasted up right pretty. Crust a bit tuff. Reckon that’s why they tell ya ta pour a ¼ ta ½ cup melted butter on it. I don’t care fer butter – left it out.

Maybe there's something else you can use,Arcey. Bet Del can come up with an answer for ya ::)

54 and sun here. Another keys to the kingdom weekend. Survived the 4th, but had a disgruntled resident call about 9:30 last night. A guy who lives outside the park, barely, had some big fireworks he wanted to set off. Manager suggested using the big field out front to keep the chance of having something set fire to their home from being too close. They was close to being pro stuff, big booms. Resident called saying they were keeping her grandkids awake and scared. Had to tell her that they had permission to set'em off. She got kinda snippy about it........oh,well. She's a bit of a PITA anyway ::) ::) :o

Morning y'all.
Thanks fer the coffee.

Some areas have rocks around, they are scarce up Jerry's way.  Where I live they were imported from up Slim's was by the last ice age.
We didn't export enough of them.  ::)

Ya could use lard or bacon grease.

Got all the lumber that has been cut so far stacked for drying.
'Tis 67 and sunny. High of 80.

Thanks Arcey for the thought, sadly no though, still have very limited motion ....I can manage from the elbow ...but bicep & triceps use is
painful....

Good looking loaf  :)

Only 4 shooters (2 NCOWS & 2 SASS) showed, kinda expected it .... Summer heat , humidity and abundance of SASS type shoots on any given weekend, and we "NCOWS"  goes hurting for posse' numbers.... :(
when planets align...do the deal !

Good Mornin' y'all.

The rodeo was pretty great last night.  For an opener, they had the local 4-H, FFA, VFW and Clamper piper/drumers pull out a very large flag (about 40' x 75').  Then there was a local prodigy that sang the National Anthem.  After that, they had a local bass singer read a poem called "That Old Ragged Flag."  Then, we had the rodeo.  Kid from Fallon, Nv took first.  He was given a 2014 Dodge 1/2 ton pick-up truck, a 24k gold belt buckle that was half the size of Montana, with genuine rubies and hand engraved custom patterns, and a $500 cash prize. :o
There was a dance afterwards with live music from a locally popular "modern country" band.  They weren't bad, for modern country.  :-\   Couldn't convince the mother that I needed to stay.  Maybe something about it being 11 o'clock at night.... ::)

TK,

Just a suggestion on my part, I would recommend you remember these times. They may happen less often in the future.

Didn’t say neither way so I did cuz I wanted to. Used a crock pot rather’n an oven ‘n left out the butter. Other’n that, that’s it.

Fat lady likes it. Half it went away whilst I was at the shoot. If she likes what I do, I'm happy 'n I had fun with it. Ain't opposed ta advice tho.

Sorry ta hear, M2.

We’re all SASS. I guess twix 25 ‘n 30. Mentored a first timer so I didn’t shoot. The boy’ll be alright. Got over the first shoot jitters by the fourth stage. Caught on ta what he needed ta be doin’ ‘n not doin’. Ain’t afraid or shy ‘bout helpin’ out with spent brass, target resets ‘n the like. Best of all he listens well ‘n he’s safety conscious. Mature. Pushin’ 50 ‘n got over hisownself a long time ago. He’ll be a good addition ta the posse.

Heat coulda been werse. It was tolerable.

Been nice if y’all coulda been with us.

Mornin’.

78 days ‘til fall.

Went past my beddy-bye time last night. Firewerks were decent. Thinkin’ they put a l’il more powder in the stuff they set off for the grand finale. Concussion was akin ta Pony Racer ‘er Wildcat Will’s 10 gauge thingys stuffed with shells holdin’ a quarter pound a Goex each. Substantial nummer of cars packed inta the ‘hood felt it ‘n set their alarms off.

Thanks for the Cawffee this morning. I am still waking up. Moose took Victoria to the Park before it got too hot. They had a big Fireworks show at Lone Star Park, a Horse track, which is just north of us. Moose took one of our neighbors with her. It got started late, and was not over with till almost midnight.
