Shotgun fitting is done primarily by trap and skeet shooters, to fit the piece to their shooting style and physique, so that they might engage fast-moving targets shot at a distance more naturally - it has nothing to do with C&WAS, where the barrels almost touch the target.
What's wrong with your Rossi?
You might find that shooting it will make it more 'user-friendly' as it breaks in, and I'd recommend doing that, before taking it somewhere.
