Uberti Silverboy
« on: October 27, 2013, 10:52:13 PM »
Hi All,

I recently purchased a Silverboy and I really love it.
It's a nice compliment to my now 9 lever gun collection and much cheaper to shoot (and easier on my aging shoulder).
My reason to post is to point out one experience I've  had shooting various brands of 22 LR.
Every brand I've used has cycled flawlessly except Federal AE.  It has 100% failed to eject, causing the next round to come up and immediately jam the action.  It takes some kind of tool (I used a small screwdriver) to wiggle the live shell out and then the spent cartridge.

Just wanted to pass that on to folks.

Not wanting to start something but boy o boy does that not look a lot like the Henry Golden Boy?  Is this payback for all the Colt Black Powder pistols Henry in its previous form put together for Uberti, they are now making "silver boys" for Uberti?  Just wondering.

It all boils down to something I once read in a Dilbert Comic strip once...
