Good stuff on the American Graffiti sound track. The thing Roo mentioned ain’t on it. Neither is Sonny ‘n Cher.

Lookin’ like a pretty day ta get out ta the barn ‘n do some stuff. Hafta dodge the drizzle spells is all.

This one is worse than either:

Oh no it's not!  I'd listen to Chevy can all the way through - either of those other two would cause an immediate dial spin.

Always loved that green onions tune but didn't know what it was called til now, so thanks for the edumacation - now I'm off to the iTunes Store.

Commercial been on the tube for what seems like months playin that Baby Ima song.  That one needs ta stay dead an buried.

Hadn't thought bout the nationality of the dish Roo but I spose it fit in with the Oktoberfest theme.  Was tasty, we both ate more than we shoulda.

Calender has taday marked for fall festival...don't know if that's a grand kid thing er a growed up thing but I'm sure I'll end up there either way.  Kinda hopin it's a grand kid thing.

Coffee's callin, ya all have fun.

Morning y'all.
Thanks fer the coffee, Litl Rooster.

'Tis 43 and partly sunny. "Mostly sunny in the morning then becoming mostly cloudy. Isolated rain showers in the morning...then numerous rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 40s. South wind 5 to 10 mph shifting to the west in the afternoon. Chance of rain 60 percent."

Got told Lemol said a bad werd at school yesterday, told rita that I was glad the PC folks hadn't totally got him sucked over, didn't go over well.  She didn't know the werd or context, well I need to know that before I judge him, might have been justifiable cussing.   ;)

Knowing that the boy has at least one positive role model in his life, I have to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that the alleged cussing was in fact justified.

Been cloudy/drizzly all day here :-\

Temp is 44  and it certainly feels it. Gave the dogs a flea bath today, plus washed up the blankets that are on the chairs and love seat. Just been Mister Domestic the last couple days.

Made a box meal for supper, hash browns with cheese and ham ::)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Turned out ta be a fambly thing at the big orchard/store what grows an sells all things fruit.  At harvest time they invite vendors ta set up an sell cr.. I mean stuff an they hire a three piece blue grass band ta play while the little league team raises funds sellin the standard hot dog, chips an a drink $5.  I think the whole thing was lost on a two year old but she had fun pushing her stroller all over the lot an sayin hi ta other little kids.  All and all it was worth the 49 cents a pound for all variety of apples, it's canning time.

Forgot about columbus day earlier in the week so I fixed sketti with clam sauce for supper.

See ya all in the AM.

Nice out. Very nice, yessir.

Think I’ll go outside for a while ‘n just smile. Take in some clean, fresh air.

Morning y'all.
Coffee is hot.

'Tis 33 and fog. "Partly sunny in the morning...then cloudy with light rain likely in the afternoon. Areas of dense fog reducing visibilities to less than 1/4 mile at times in the morning. Highs in the upper 40s. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 70 percent."

Had my hip come part out of joint at work yesterday, my fault, did something I shouldn't.  Limped up to the work dept and got Nick to fix it.   He just finished EMT and fire training at SCC and should be able to get on in Lincoln in Feb.  An easy fix.

Then a elderly lady and her husband got stuck in the handicap elevator, got Nick and Rob, we tore the door off, but I almost fell down the stairs running for tools, the lady was having a panic attack and was on O2.

We got her out and to her car, found out she's been stuck in one when she was pregant and a lot younger and that was for a couple hours.  "I'm never getting in a elevator again" I heard her say as they were going out the door. ::)
