I'm new to the cowboy shooting sports. My recent purchase... an Uberti 1873 carbine seems to not eject the brass from the action as high as most I have seen on youtube. I am using Winchester brass. Any input would be great.

Try working the lever faster. As the lifter rises it kicks the spent shell out.
