Just a reminder for those planning to attend the convention and wanting to make motel reservations. To get the discount, reservations need to be made before February 28. Also please get your convention reservations in soon so we can ensure the caterers have a proper head count for the banquet.
As Jefff stated earlier we have a great western buffet planned for the banquet this year. We will also be having three playing card raffles during the banquet for these great prizes, a Buck Taylor print donated by Tonto Rim Trading, a leather shooters bag donated by Brownells, along with all our normal door prizes.
We will have numerous presentations scheduled, including Walt Kirst, Peabody Rifles and others.
If you are not able to attend the convention and enjoy all the fun and comradery, perhaps you would like to purchase one or more tickets for our other raffles for the Pietta Remington 1858 NMA with Kirst Konverter, and custom gun leather along with another for a Lee Classic Turret press reloading outfit. All proceeds go to support the convention and NCOWS , you need not be present to win. Contact me , Boweimaker, Jefff or any other member of the Johnson County Rangers to purchase tickets.
We will adding updates as convention time draws nearer.
Hope to see everyone in Shepherdsville, KY.  in March!

Oklahoma Tom of 3B Shooting Supply has graciously donated a Cimarron cap and ball pistol to be awarded at the Saturday night banquet. No buying extra tickets, if you are attending the banquet you are in the drawing, must be present to win. So get your banquet reservations in and plan on attending the convention and banquet.
Thanks to Oklahoma Tom.

Major, Friday night I found another steak place that is north of the hotel, I don't remember the name, but it has a western theme. The food was good and the service was fair. I think I can find it.

The steak house north* of the hotel got good reviews last year.  The one next to the hotel did not.
Most of the KVC contingient will arrive on Thursday, late afternoon.

The offending steak house is out of business. The Cattlemans Steakhouse is doing well.
