Prices on lever actions
« on: May 29, 2004, 06:29:35 PM »
Howdy folks

I am looking to get a Browning 92 lever action in 44 mag / 44 Spec. What are the going prices for these?

Plus has anyone ever used one the Henry Big Boy 44's? I know that they have a brass receiver, which seems to me would be more likely to get scratched up than a steel one. I see a batch of these on Gunbroker.com in the $500 or so range. Are they any good and do they stand up to wear and tear.

As we do, I would like to get the best gun for the buck.

Thanks

There was one on the SASS Wire for $450 I think.  That is about what they are going for.
