Has the Sleep Inn been set for offical NCOWS hotel ?

Seems to me we were contacting them this early last year to confirm reservations $:-\$
we are looking at 5 months out ....

The short answer is no ....

I called them, there are no Blocks for NCOWS Mar. 15, 16, 17, 2013

Roger, That's good to know. The hotel was okay, other than the room rates could have been cheaper.

we have a block of 40 rooms some smoking some non both double and suites
70$ for double 80$ for a suite

we can use the breakfast room at night to gather,but alcohol must be covered in bag or box.if we don't clean up after we will we charged.
ask for ncows rate when making reservations price is good for thurs though sun night.

Jeff as explained in chambers

I called Saturday 10 AM morning and the girl said they had no rooms blocked for NCOWS for any date in March.

You posted later that evening the Block was in place
My question ...was the Block confirmed Saturday afternoon, as in after my call ?

So base on your post claiming they were block, I called for my reservations .
again The Manager "Jeff' said they had nothing blocked for NCOWS that was about 8PMish.

So my question was when was it confirmed ? ...or perhaps a SNAFU by the Hotel ?

I read your post to the Manager "Jeff" and he then set the 40 room block and confirmed my two rooms VIA email.
My guess an employee, droppped the ball (Block) you set up.....

I called for my reservations today as well. Still no block set up. They are waiting on a contract to be signed and returned.

Perhaps they need the I's dotted & the T crossed... $:-\$ but the manager said we were set though he said nothing about a contract to be signed and returned. $:-\$

but I have the rate $233.73 includes tax and the conformation numbers .

I have my reservations. But they are not in the "NCOWS Block". He says when the contract is signed and the block is set up, he will move us.

I called at approx. 3 pm today and the contract still had not been returned. The clerk said it would be at least another week or so.

The arrangements have been made. I have NOT received the contract from the motel. When it arrives, it will be examined and signed, then returned.
In the meantime, feel free to make arrangements with them. I am sure they will convert them to our group rate when all is complete.

I just called the hotel. Still no rooms blocked, and they are unaware of the $70.00 per night cost.

I have two confirmations numbers @ the $70 rate...
made those outside the block ..... $:-\$

I'm not sure what the SNAFU is but I sure hope someone is on this..perhaps a road trip over there is in order

They were supposed to send something to French Jack to sign but don't know if he got it. He has been in contact with them trying to get it resolved.

JCR annual meeting this coming week so if it is not resolved by then we will figure out what we need to do. We have members close to the area but unfortunately they are not on the forums.

The contract has been signed and returned to the motel.
The rooms have been blocked and 5 reservations were in when I talked to Trish, the manager. Those who made reservations and perhaps were in doubt as to the discount, should touch base and verify they have been given the NCOWS rate.

Also--- ANY reservations made after Feb. 28th, will not qualify for the reduced rate, UNLESS we have taken all the block of rooms, and can get more added. So-- Get your reservations in early. Rooms not used in our block will go back into the general pool at the motel.
