Cilantro.

Huh>

I figured about 75% of the people on this wire were using dru...uh, "herbs' of one sort or another.

Not me, though.  I'm like Cheech Marin: nowadays my drug of choice is Rogaine.

You've been watching too much "Nash Bridges" :o ::) ;D  Good episode though! ;D

Nice girls don't date guys who drive Nashes. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Of course nice guys most likely don't date girls that drive them either. ;D ;D ;D ;)

And, pray tell, Del, why don't nice girls date guys who drive Nash cars??  Fully reclining seats :o :o ;D are not what they are cracked up to be, ya' know.  Actually, they were fairly comfortable for a short spell.

Well!

I suppose a Nash Rambler would be a cool "retro" car to own these days, but if I remember kee-rektly, they weren't that good a car when they were new, and I doubt they're any better now.  I'd rather have a Toronado.

The largest Nash the "Air Flite" made into a queen size bed, advertised "fer campin'"  Ads even showed Mod, Dad and two kids sleepin' in it. ;D ;D

As for the other, make the kids read some of the stuff we post in Tall Tales and tell them why we are like we are.  That should work even better than showing gruesome car accident films in Drivers Ed. ;D ;D ;D ;D :o :o :o ::) ::) ;)

Well Forty, Nash Bridges is played by that same fella who played in Miami Vice   8) some years ago.  Same type character he played then, what some call a one dimension actor. :-\  But as posted above there are those that like 'um. :)  Now if'n ya gould find a Nash Metropolition around in good shape, that would be a gas to drive around town in! ;D  ;D

Bucky, we have a local guy who collects NASH Metros...won't have an American motors car on the place.  Must have seventy of them and drives one of five or six really nice ones to work every day.  I understand he keeps them in a converted dairy barn in Chino.

The Original gas saver.  A friend in college claimed 55 mpg in his.

They sure are tiny, though.

This could be the car of the future - already selling in Canada - hopefully soon in the USA.  The SMART CAR.  I friend tells me they get 75mpg !?!

Being that this car is manufactured and marketed by Mercedes I don't expect that it will be inexpensive. ::)

"Talle" Tales?

Del, have you been in the loco weed again?  You're off your mark today.  First fictitious people, now strange sites.  Do we need to set up an "intervention"?

Hey, Trinity.  Wanna get in on an exocism again?  'Member the last one?  I wonder if old man Jenkins ever rebuilt that barn.

Talle... yep ol' Delmonico is always hung-up about size.... no matter which language.  ;D ;D ;D

I do not care to remember that exorcism.  I do remember that you were performing it on me.  I'm just lucky that I was able loosen the binds and remove myself from the stake before you got the fire lit.  ...If I remember correctly Old man Jenkins perished in the fire.  Remember what we got the following Halloween when we were trick-or-treating at Widow Jenkins' place?  ugh!!!

I have SOME pride left.

I wouldn't be caught driving something that looks as much like an air purifier as that Smart thing.  Even if I could get it for free and they'd buy all my fuel.

Looks like a California Freeway Death Trap.

I can just see myself squished into that bucket for a trip to Utah three or four times a year.

Pack up all your dishes.
Make note of all good wishes.
Say goodbye to the landlord for me.
That son of a bitch has always bored me.
Throw out them LA papers
And that moldy box of vanilla wafers.
Adios to all this concrete.
Gonna get me some dirt road back street

If I can just get off of this LA freeway
Without getting killed or caught
I'd be down that road in a cloud of smoke
For some land that I ain't bought bought bought

Here's to you old skinny Dennis
Only one I think I will miss
I can hear that old bass singing
Sweet and low like a gift you're bringin'
Play it for me just one more time now
Got to give it all we can now
I belive everything your saying
Just keep on, keep on playing

If I can just get off of this LA freeway
Without getting killed or caught
I'd be down that road in a cloud of smoke
For some land that I ain't bought bought bought

And you put the pink card in the mailbox
Leave the key in the old front door lock
They will find it likely as not
I'm sure there's somethin' we have forgot
Oh Susanna, don't you cry, babe
Love's a gift that's surely handmade
We've got something to believe in
Dontcha' think it's time we're leavin'

If I can just get off of this LA freeway
Without getting killed or caught
I'd be down that road in a cloud of smoke
For some land that I ain't bought bought bought
