Did that one up for the movie Bandelero with Dean Martin,the sherrifs (Goerge Kennedy) deputy wore one just like it.His name was Rosco in the movie.

This right here is worth a repeat  

Taking the hint from GCR.... the set of letters I got at the Dollar store ......the Y works perfectly in my set as you can see on my hat. The X was a bit tight at one end & too loose at the other
The coolest thing, 1 buck for the set !  
I had exhausted looking for any local Hatshapers, as none had the tool.
 I saved myself the cost of the $180 “Kettle” curl tool .

The hat is a 26 years old 100 % Rabbit Akubra that started out a stockman’s hat, as was seen in the movie "The Man From Snowy River"
Now it sports a telescope crown & a “Kettle” curl.
