There's sound advice for people wanting to move to Florida. Be sure you have a second home somewhere in the middle of the US where you can live from July through Thanksgiving. That way you will avoid the hurricanes.

We're expected to get heavy rains from Katrina, but the high winds are not expected here in Georgia.

We're supposed to have 100mph+ wind here tomorrow. I'm located 100 miles north of New Orleans & the I-55 has been packed with folks going north for over 24 hours. It was even made all north bound for 24 hours or so. First time ever for that here. I'm only 9 miles west of I-55 & 15 miles north of the La. line. It's gonna be bad here tomorrow.
