Back from the ride.....Rode 4 1/2 miles (each way, up hill) to town for a cup of coffee, in a to go cup and drank it on the way home....Pea Eye only went left of center once on the Yellow rubber line...(It was not doubled so infraction of the law) Saved 6 bucks on gas and got to exercise him too boot.  Lots of stares from folks I think they were thinking it was a protest.....Forgot my saddle bags would have stopped at IGA got somethings for dinner.  Now can I get on the bus


Oh the best part 4 yuppies on bikes come by me, We loped past them and stayed out front till we turned off the State road.

We were at Rock Creek Station a couple a years ago in the shadow of Wild Bill.  Well there were some folks on Mt bikes ridin' around.  They stopped at the post office and went inside.

I tolt Gopher Grease to put on his pistol as I put on mine.  Tolt him to stay back a ways and follow my lead.  When they came out I was a starin' at the bikes.  They hesitated at the door, I hollored for GG who was about 50 feet behind me.  When he got over I pointed out they was a makin' em with wheels the same size front and back now.

They still stop by the store from time to time.
