I cannot find the website where Marauder 'improves' the 1858 Remington Pistol ... one of the things he does is to enlarge the nipple cutouts to make nipple access and insertion easier.

I figured someone here had the site; Help!

But it does not address the dremel tool or the nipple insertions in the cylinder ...

I'm wondering if the paragraph was deleted because it caused weakness in the back of the cylinder?

I'm just starting to "discover" the C&B revolvers. I have an 1858, two 1860 and two 1851............I'm trying to find everything I can about tuning them up. Good winter projects!

So I don't know the answer to your question. But if I see something, I'll let you know.
