Ruger built those years ago, when .30M1 was super-cheap and available on the market.

A 'serious' fireball when you touch one off...

Worthless for much of anything, though.

.30 Carbine in a 7 1/2" barrel is only outdone by shorter barrels as the noisiest SOB made.  Not just loud, but the pitch is painful.

That has to be one of USFA's shorter descriptions.  Just a pistol in 30 carbine, no reason why this caliber.

It must be easy to adjust tooling and make any caliber available.
