New toy!!

Well, folks, I can't hold any longer. I stumbled on the greatest find I've had in my 55 years today. I stopped by a local gun shop and found a used (barely used) Uberti El Patron. Blue with case color frame, .357 magnum, 4-3/4" barrell. It only looks as if it has had the factory firing test. The gun is just perfect and it fits exactly what I've been trying to find for a couple of months! I had no idea I'd find one, and a used one to boot. I had a gun to trade, and pulled off and even swap as well. This gun is in such good condition, I'm not sure I want to shoo - nahhh! I'm going to shoot it about 30 minutes after I finish this post.

I've really enjoyed this forum, and just had to let everyone in on my fun! It's been great to read about all of the many different guns that people use for CAS. In fact, I'm going to a local CAS shoot next Saturday. My first one! I guess I'll have to let the new gun ride along!!

It does have that hammer safety. I think I've seeen somewhere that it can be removed. Does anyone know about that for certain?

Yep just a little screw, but it leaves cavity where it was... just leave it in but put a drop of Blue Loctite on it and snug it down
no cavity,  no loosing up and engaging
