That is a great video.....I am not a big fan of nickle handguns, but there is something about a nickle plated Colt SAA that is just "Right"... ;D!

If you're going to shoot BP out of a Colt's SAA then it needs to be plated.

Why would you say such a thing?

Because I've reached the point where I appreciate the easiest way of living. Plated guns are just easier to clean, IMO.

SF,
Yeah, they are maybe just a tad harder to clean, but IMHO they're not that much harder to clean. I shoot primarily black powder in non-plated handguns. I like the looks of blued guns better. To each his own.

That is a problem with black powder. I deer hunt with black powder and it definitely causes problems seeing if the deer is hit and which way it goes.

Theoretically you're supposed to be a good enough shot that he won't run at all.  ;D :D ;)

Theoretically they normally don't drop immediately unless you have both shoulders, spine, neck or head shot. I was an archery hunter before getting into blackpowder. I aim for the heart lungs and they can run from 10 to 40 yards with that kind of shot. Saves meat too.
I sometimes, very rarely you understand, make a bad shot. You know when something gets in my eye or some other lame brain excuse.
