Looks like we are going to have white Christmas this year in Kentucky if this weather pattern keeps up. You never know around here from year to year. Could be sunny and warm or a blizzard.

Meh,

Rick is just down there in Southern CA ;D

We had snow on Thanks Giving and will probably close the road a couple times between now and Christmas 8)

Hang in there Wolfy,you may need to come back and build me a Soapy shed to live in.I'm gonna sell this money pit and buy some dirt somewhere.A Soapy shed and a good stove would do  me just fine! :)

Here in central Indiana, it looks like we'll have a white Christmas; 4" on Monday and another 3 or 4 today.  They says it's good to stay cold, so I expect it to hang around 'til the big day.  We don't get too many white Christmases here. -- Greg

Yesterday I made 2 large loaves each of four fruit cake recipes, one was my Grandmother's recipe the other 3 were based on that one but modified.

Today I baked 4 chess pies using Dad's recipe and one "experimental" chess pie using almonds instead of pecans and ameretto instead of vanilla...because my daughter can't eat pecans or walnuts.  Got down the extra chairs and put the leaf in the table.

Tomorrow is a day off from baking while I set up all the other stuff, wash dishes, do some laundry, and supervise the final day of a contractor's work on my house.

Thursday is for baking breads, rolls, and muffins.

My wife's off work on Friday, the kids are coming and we'll eat our big Christmas dinner in the evening. Momma takes over the cooking early in the day with turkey, ham, potatoes, candied yams, veggies, etc.

Christmas day we open gifts and have friends drop by all afternoon to smile, talk, show off, and graze on leftovers, and "small hand foods".

Sunday I plan to see if I can set a record for flat on my back groaning and flash naps.
