Randolph Scott made a western in 1955, "Rage At Dawn" about the Reno gang.

Yep - the Scarlet Mask Vigilance Committee were responsible for hanging most of the Reno gang, after they figured that justice was barely alive and moving too slowly.

Later, a group of NCOWS members wanted to shoot more as well as create a different type of shooting (including Woods Walks, hunting styles and such) and the Scarlet Mask Vigilance Society was born! (And we have a lot of fun in conjunction with our "Big Sister" club, the Great Lakes Freight & Mining Co. ... as well as our Kentucky neighbors, the Johnson Co. Rangers.

And now you know the REST of the story! (I'm a proud member of BOTH Indiana clubs and support our southern friends whenever possible.)
