Nice Old Cabinet Card, "Assay Office," Jensen & Mayo, San Francisco ~ 1878.

Old cabinet card, with damage as you can see but identified on the reverse as an assay office in San Francisco, 1879. Missing one corner, numerous tack marks but not all the way through the card, backmarked to Jensen & Mayo of San Francisco, on Cedar Street. Mining pan and shovel evident in the front row. Nice old card, a bit light from age but great subject matter.
