You guys out there are always whinin' when it ain't sunny and warm, we got 10-20 inches more of snow coming, although it don't sound like we are gonna get the sub zero temps and the up to 50 mph winds with it.

Geez, you guys get an ittly bitty whimpy tornado the other day and it was on the national news right away, from the picture it was stugglin' to make F-0. ::)

"..... but girl, I'm here to warn ya', it pours, man, it pours!"

Yep, ever so often, it does.  And the only folks who complain are most of the immigrants, which are about 90% of the states population.  ;) ;D (Remember, I am a displaced native Southern Californian - I got the right to gripe if I want to.)

Here in Lost Wages, the complain factor is the same: everyone (again, 99% immigrants) squawks about how dry it is, lack of rain (it is a desert for cryin' out loud), and now we've had almost an inch of rainfall in the past two days, and they're whinin' about all the rain, and wondering when it's gonna stop.  :-\ :-\ ::)

All of y'all keep safe; I know you will, but I gotta say it just the same.

A question:  How much wind does it take to move a seven-pound rock a distance of seven feet nine inches?  'Cause that's how much wind was in my back yard this afternoon.

Nothin' good to brag about back there, so they brag about how tough it is.  Like folks in Seattle brag about rain and bad, overpriced coffee, an' Texans brag about dang near anything.  We don't have to brag about
how wonderful we are and how good it is here.... most of the time.

Why, we even have ground that dances, and air we can see, and politicians that keep us honed down real fine.

Forty Rod,

I volunteer for a free kitchen during the week, and end up exchanging the usual 'how ya doin' pleasantries with people coming in ...

I remember asking one fella, who had a real right to be angry, how he was doing ...

His answer was, 'Well, I'm on the right side of the grass...."

Which has become my mantra for bad days ... 'well, at least I am on the right side of the grass (to which I add, and still breathing)' ....

Speaking of rain,

I have just watched 'Last Stand at Sabre River" two plus times ... I think it is time to put on 'The Professionals'

Agree with ya pard, sad thing till about a month ago I liked Ben.  Met him years ago when he was Gov, came over to meet me at the State Fair.  In his defense, he really liked my Sharps and asked to look it over.  Even invited him to supper but her has prier commitments.
