First USFA
« on: September 23, 2009, 10:06:16 AM »
Greetings All

Just bought my first USFA on Gun Broker this morning and am excited.  Have several Colts, Rugers, and other SAA revolvers.  However this crazy fully engraved nickel USFA on gun broker just drove me crazy and had to have it.  I have thought about a premium USFA at store and it was a dream however this pretty thing would just not get out of my head so broke down and purchased it.  More than ever paid for a pistol.  That is not saying everything however bought my second generation colt new back in 73 for $178.  so been at it for a bit of time.

Anyway now a USFA afficiendo/

Caprock,
Welcome to the forum!  You will have to post some pictures of that engraved gun when you get it in hand.

OMG that is beautiful to the extent it is as good as anything Colt made in the 19th and pre-War 20th century.  The USFA engraving is second to none on SAAs....the price is a bargin given the level of engraving....VERY NICE BUY CONGRATS!

Not often one is surprised however when I received the revolver it had genuine ivory grips.  Was certainly not expecting that

Wait until you see how well they shoot...

 ;D

If you aren't going to shoot this one, you're going to have to get another...  ;)
